Job description

We are seeking a hands‑on Senior Account Executive/Accountant to ensure our financial operations run with high standards and integrity. If you thrive in an independent, well‑rounded role, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Core Financial Management
    • Lead the timely and accurate closing of monthly accounts and preparation of comprehensive account schedules (A/P, A/R, General Ledger).
    • Execute daily cash book maintenance, detailed bank reconciliation, and proactive cash flow management.
    • Prepare financial statements and statutory accounts compliant with relevant standards.
    • Manage the detailed Fixed Assets Register and ensure accurate depreciation records.
  2. Compliance and Control
    • Serve as the key liaison with external auditors and the corporate secretary.
    • Prepare and ensure timely submission of statutory contributions (e.g., KWSP/SOCSO/Income Tax).
    • Monitor and enforce internal control procedures to safeguard company assets.
    • Actively participate in cost control initiatives to improve financial efficiency.
  3. Project & Administrative Support
    • Monitor and track project progressive claims and payments accurately.
    • Handle the full spectrum of HR administration, including payroll processing, commission calculations, and staff claims.
    • Manage general office administrative duties to ensure smooth operation.
    • Undertake any other ad‑hoc assignments as required by management.
What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant, hands‑on experience in a full‑set accounting role.
  • Mandarin Proficiency is highly advantageous (both written and spoken). This is crucial for effective communication and liaison with our China/regional stakeholders and clients, ensuring smooth business operations and clear documentation.
  • Sound and comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles, guidelines, and statutory requirements.
  • Self‑motivated, result‑oriented, and demonstrating the highest level of integrity.
  • Highly meticulous, with strong organizational and follow‑through/monitoring skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and take self‑initiative.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, for reporting and analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to be a collaborative team player.
