Responsibilities
- To manage, supervise, check & control accounting book‑keeping operations of full set of accounts i.e. FAR, AP, AR, GL, Cashbook, Journals and Reconciliation accounts.
- Perform data entry and ensure data keyed in is complete and accurate.
- Prepare financial statements, cash flow and reports.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and systems in compliance with approved accounting standards and statutory requirements.
- Managing and ensuring the smooth and accurate closing of monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial periods.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Lead annual audits and handle tax matters, coordinate with banks, company secretaries, tax agents, auditors, government authorities, and professional advisors on all financial and company related matters.
- To ensure compliance and timely submission of all statutory related matters e.g. SST filing, tax filing, Co. Annual Return filing etc.
- Manage and supervise accounting staff.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance; ICMA, CPA/ACCA preferred.
- Experience: 5+ years in accounting, ideally in a senior role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
