Job summary

A leading construction firm in Kuala Lumpur is looking for an experienced Senior / Account Executive to manage financial accounts and ensure accurate reporting. In this full-time role, you will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, maintain compliance with accounting standards, and prepare monthly accrual listings. The ideal candidate should have a Diploma, Degree in Finance or similar, and at least 1 year of relevant experience. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Job description

KM INFRA BINA (M) SDN BHD is seeking an experienced Senior /Account Executive to join our team in Bukit Jalil. As an Account Executive, you will play a vital role in maintaining our financial accounts and ensuring accurate financial reporting. This full-time position offers an opportunity to contribute to the strategic objectives of our growing company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations including bookkeeping, journal entries, processing payment, invoice, reconciliation of accounts, and update cash flow.
  • Ensure all supplier invoices are timely and accurately accounted for.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations and company policies.
  • Ensure proper documentation and are in place for audit purposes.
  • Able to handle full set of account with minimum supervision.
  • Reconcile all intercompany transactions and balances with the respective related companies.
  • Coordinate with the respective departments on invoicing issues.
  • Prepare monthly accrual listings and assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Undertake any other jobs and duties may be assigned by superiors from time to time.
Requirement
  • Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or Degree in Finance, Accountancy, ACCA, or an equivalent professional qualification.
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant working experience; experience in the property development or construction industry is an advantage.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Sound understanding of accounting standards, particularly those applicable to property development.
  • Computer literate; knowledge of IFCA accounting system is an added advantage.
  • Able to work independently under pressure, multitask effectively, and demonstrate strong attention to detail.
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with good written and verbal communication skills.
