Job summary

A company in the financial services sector is seeking an Account Executive to prepare full sets of accounts, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable. The ideal candidate will ensure timely month-end and year-end closing, review balance sheet accounts, and prepare management reports. A Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field, along with excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail, is required. Familiarity with e-Invoicing is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare full set of accounts, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable.

Job description

Prepare full set of accounts, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable.

Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing, with accurate financial statements.

Review and reconcile balance sheet accounts.

Prepare management reports, cash flow forecasts, and variance analysis.

2. Internal Controls & Processes

Maintain and enhance internal accounting controls and procedures.

Monitor company expenses, budgeting, and cost control measures.

Verify payment vouchers, journal entries, and supporting documents for compliance.

Coordinate with other departments to resolve accounting-related queries.

Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and other statutory bodies.

Handle financial correspondence and maintain proper documentation.

5. Other ad hoc assignment as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Finance/Accountancy/Banking etc.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail, strong sense of ownership, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and committed to continuous improvement and teamwork.
  • Familiar with e-Invoicing implementation and reporting.
