The Security Analyst plays a critical role in safeguarding the residential township by monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting security-related data to identify potential threats, vulnerabilities, and emerging patterns. This position focuses on proactive risk assessment, incident trend analysis, and the recommendation of actionable measures to strengthen overall safety and security across the township.
Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Monitoring
- Collect, monitor, and analyze data from CCTV systems, access control logs, incident reports, and security patrol records
- Identify abnormal patterns, suspicious activities, and potential security breaches
- Provide data-driven insights to support informed security decisions
- Conduct regular vulnerability and risk assessments of township premises and security infrastructure
- Evaluate emerging security threats and recommend preventive and mitigation measures
- Support continuous improvement of security controls and procedures
- Investigate security incidents thoroughly and prepare detailed reports, including root cause analysis
- Recommend corrective and preventive actions to reduce the likelihood of recurrence
- Support post-incident reviews and lessons-learned initiatives
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare and present security analytics, trend reports, and dashboards for management review
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential records of security incidents and risk assessments
- Ensure documentation aligns with internal security policies and standards
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Risk Management, Data Analysis, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in security analysis, risk management, or a similar role
- Experience in residential, township, or community security operations is an advantage
- Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools such as Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or equivalent
- Working knowledge of physical security systems, including CCTV and access control systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and handle confidential information with integrity
