Scientific Officer Trainee - Medical Laboratory

We are looking for a highly motivated Scientific Officer Trainee to support our vital work. Fresh graduates with hands-on experience in molecular biology techniques from their final year project (FYP) are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in performing molecular diagnostic tests for cancer screening and diagnosis (e.g., PCR, qPCR, NGS).

Help prepare reagents and samples for nucleic acid extraction and amplification.

Support the analysis and interpretation of molecular test results for cancer diagnosis.

Ensure compliance with ISO/GLP standards and help maintain high-quality documentation.

Assist in the development and optimization of molecular protocols for cancer testing.

Support regular maintenance and calibration of molecular lab equipment.

Perform or assist with phlebotomy procedures, ensuring patient comfort and proper sample handling.

Work closely with related department teams to ensure customer satisfaction and timely results.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Science, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or a related field.

Fresh graduates with hands-on experience in molecular techniques (such as PCR, qPCR, and nucleic acid extraction) from their final year project (FYP) are welcome to apply.
