Job summary

A leading animal feed company is seeking a Salesman / Sales Executive in Perak to promote and sell animal feed products. Responsibilities include developing customer relationships, achieving sales targets, and identifying new sales opportunities. Candidates should possess a minimum SPM qualification, good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English, and willingness to travel. Experience in related fields is advantageous. A valid driving license and own transport are required for this role.

Qualifications

• Experience in animal feed, agriculture, livestock or manufacturing sales will be an added advantage.
• Willing to travel extensively within Perak.
• Knowledge of livestock or animal nutrition will be an added advantage.

Job Title: Salesman / Sales Executive

Key Responsibilities

• Promote and sell animal feed products manufactured by the company within the assigned Perak territory
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers such as farms, distributors, dealers, and retailers
• Identify new sales opportunities and expand market coverage for the company’s animal feed products
• Conduct regular customer visits to present products, explain nutritional benefits, and negotiate sales terms
• Achieve sales targets and KPIs set by management
• Provide accurate information on product specifications, pricing, delivery schedules, and usage recommendations
• Follow up on customer orders, deliveries, and payment collection by coordinating with production, logistics, and accounts departments
• Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally and ensure timely resolution
• Monitor market trends, customer demand, competitor activities, and pricing within the assigned area
• Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and customer updates to management
• Maintain proper documentation of sales activities, customer records, and outstanding payments
• Comply with company policies, workplace safety requirements, and relevant employment laws in Malaysia

Job Requirements

• Willing to travel extensively within Perak
• Possess a valid driving licence and own transport / GDL
