A leading automation company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an automation engineer responsible for gathering and analyzing requirements, developing and installing PLC/SCADA programs, and providing comprehensive post-installation support and training. The ideal candidate will collaborate with the sales team on proposals and manage design changes and installation processes. Strong troubleshooting skills and technical expertise are critical for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze automation system design requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
• Collaborate with the sales team to develop system proposals, provide costing and scheduling input.
• Develop and install automation programs using PLC/SCADA software.
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee the installation process.
• Organize and manage Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT).
• Conduct operational and maintenance training for client personnel.
• Manage design changes and document modifications.
• Provide technical support post-installation.
