A procurement and sales support company in Malaysia is seeking a Sales Support Coordinator to manage purchasing functions, coordinate logistics, and provide customer support. As a Sales Support Coordinator (Procurement) at Heap Wah Barakah Sdn Bhd, you will play a vital role in supporting the purchasing and procurement functions within our company. This role is responsible for sourcing materials, issuing purchase and delivery documents, coordinating logistics, and providing support to both customers and internal teams.
Issue Purchase Orders (PO) and confirm accuracy of pricing and delivery timelines.
Liaise with suppliers for quotations, negotiate pricing, discounts, and delivery terms.
Evaluate supplier performance and maintain supplier and product information in the system.
Monitor stock levels and coordinate with storekeeper for timely replenishment.
Assist in sourcing new suppliers or alternatives to ensure business continuity and cost efficiency.
Issue Delivery Orders (DO), Sales Invoices, and related documents accurately.
Verify customer POs against quotations, pricing, and discount structures.
Coordinate with sales, warehouse, and drivers for timely order delivery.
Confirm delivery details with customers and handle inquiries via phone, email, or in person.
Assist walk-in customers and perform cashier duties when required.
Monitor customer account status and coordinate with Credit Controller as needed.
Prepare and issue sales quotations; review Salespersons’ quotations for accuracy.
Support sales team with product information, stock updates, and pricing.
Follow up with customers on quotation status and delivery feedback.
Possess a diploma or higher qualification or other equivalent relevant field.
Minimum 1 year of experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably in trading & distribution industry.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with suppliers and inter departmental staff from all levels.
Good command of English both spoken and written, and able to communicate in Mandarin will be an added advantage.
Ability to work well in a team, work independently and adapt to changing priorities.

5.5 days per week (Alternate Saturday)
Monday to Friday (8.30 AM - 5.00 PM)
Saturday (Alternate) (8.30 AM - 2.00 PM)
