Job summary

A technology company in Malaysia is seeking a motivated sales professional to promote and sell toner powder and related products. The ideal candidate should have a Diploma/Degree in Business Management or Marketing and at least 5 years of experience in sales, specifically in industrial products. Responsibilities include managing customer accounts, preparing quotes, and providing pre-sales and after-sales support. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia are required.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for promoting and selling range of toner powder (Toner Business) and related products to customers.
  • Responsible for developing, managing, and servicing customer accounts in allocated territories and new potential areas.
  • Collaborate closely within company’s technical departments to drive successful business development with existing and new customer accounts.
  • Prepare quotations and follow up with company’s shipping departments to ensure smooth order processing.
  • Track customers’ feedback, monitor and analyze product performance and usage while providing appropriate recommendation and solution where necessary.
  • Provide pre-sales and after-sales service support including product consultancy and problem resolution.
  • Coordinate and organize meetings internally and externally to achieve the above objectives.
  • Perform any other duties as and when required by the Management.
Job Requirements
Formal Qualification
  • Diploma/Degree in Business Management or Marketing from recognized tertiary institutions.
  • Preferably with 5 years of relevant experience in export and domestic sales activities with exposure to industrial products in bulk form.
Knowledge & Skills
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite.
  • Experience in using Autocount would be advantageous.
  • Excellent time management and organization skills, meticulous and delivers quality work.
  • Ability to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines and in handling multiple tasks.
  • Highly motivated in taking initiatives and follow up with details at minimum supervision.
  • Good team player and communicator.
  • Strong communication skills in written and verbal English and Bahasa Malaysia. Ability to converse in other local dialects will be advantageous.
