Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the sales team to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Oversee preparation of quotations, proposals, and tender submissions.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key clients, EPC contractors, and distributors.
  • Ensure technical accuracy in proposals with the Pre-Sales Solutions team.
  • Track and report sales performance, pipeline status, and forecasts.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sales Lead to drive and coordinate daily sales activities for our solar energy solutions business. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, managing a sales team, and maintaining strong customer relationships while ensuring high standards of technical and commercial accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Execution & Target Achievement
    • Lead and manage the sales team to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
    • Oversee preparation of quotations, proposals, and tender submissions.
    • Engage in high-value customer negotiations and deal closures.
    • Monitor the team’s progress on sales KPIs such as volume, conversion rate, and margin.
    • Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies.
  • Team Leadership & Coordination
    • Assign leads, territories, and accounts to Sales Engineers and Executives.
    • Conduct regular sales meetings to track progress and resolve challenges.
    • Provide coaching, mentorship, and product knowledge support to the team.
    • Work closely with Sales Admin to ensure accurate and timely order processing.
  • Customer Relationship Management
    • Maintain strong relationships with key clients, EPC contractors, and distributors.
    • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
    • Support customer visits, presentations, and after-sales communication.
    • Coordinate with Operations and Service teams to resolve customer concerns promptly.
  • Collaboration with Solutions & Product Teams
    • Ensure technical accuracy in proposals with the Pre-Sales Solutions team.
    • Coordinate with the Product team for pricing updates, product availability, and new releases.
    • Provide market and customer feedback to help improve offerings and competitiveness.
  • Reporting & Analysis
    • Track and report sales performance, pipeline status, and forecasts.
    • Provide competitor intelligence and market trend reports.
    • Maintain proper documentation in CRM systems for all accounts and activities.
Requirements
