Job summary

Qualifications

Job description

Monroe Consulting Group Malaysia, an executive recruitment firm is partnering with a world leader in infection prevention products and systems for the healthcare industry to hire a Sales Executive. The company has developed its own unique chlorine dioxide formulation and applies this chemistry to manually applied high level disinfectants for medical devices in the specialties of ENT, ultrasound, airway management, urology, gynecology, cardiology, gastrointestinal manometry and ophthalmology.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Front line sales:
    • An understanding of the sales process within private hospital groups, and the key decision makers is necessary.
    • The products can be used by multiple departments within one hospital, familiarity and previous experience of the devices used in one or more of the above-mentioned specialties is a prerequisite.
    • Existing relationships with HOD's and nurses within these specialty areas across the user base would be beneficial.
    • Daily fieldwork is shared with three other sales team members, the territory is divided according to geographical location, account size and other factors.
  • Product Training
    • Products are used for medical device high level disinfection or for environmental surface disinfection are for professional use only, therefore documented and formulated training protocols are taught to HCP's. This can be done via the online training portal or face to face by our sales team, depending on the hospital's preference.
    • This is an opportunity to stay engaged with customers, be aware of new opportunities and risks from competitors.
  • Relationship Building
    • Strong relationships with our end users, key stakeholders, are necessary to maintain sales stability and consistency. End users can range from doctors & nurses to healthcare assistants, the ability to connect with people across a range of educational backgrounds is a requirement.
  • Analysis & Reporting
    • Understanding user sales patterns, identifying decline/increase in sales either by product or customer is important for reporting and analyzing and working toward quarterly and annual sales targets.

Job Requirements:

  • Candidate must at least possess a Certificates / Vocational / Diploma or higher
  • Able to converse in English well
  • Minimum 3 years experiences in medical device fields.
  • Experience in endoscopes and ultrasound would be beneficial.
  • Willing to travel within Peninsular Malaysia with own transportation
