A leading agricultural company in Kedah, Malaysia is seeking a Sales and Marketing Executive to implement strategic plans and achieve sales targets. You will be responsible for identifying new sales opportunities, developing customer relationships, and overseeing account receivables. Candidates must have a degree or diploma in a related field and a minimum of two years in sales and marketing, preferably in agriculture. This role also requires strong communication and leadership skills.
Implement sales and marketing plans to achieve sales volume, outlet coverage, and collections targets, ensuring goals and KPIs are met
Identify new sales opportunities to expand the customer base by targeting potential buyers, including farmers, distributors, agro-dealers, and plantation owners.
Conduct regular market analysis to identify opportunities for market expansion and increase the company’s market share in the fertilizer sector.
Feedback to sales Manager on customer needs, market trends, and competitor activity and pricing.
Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers to ensure repeat business.
Serve as the primary point of contact for all customer inquiries, orders, and concerns related to fertilizer quality and handle customer complaints professionally and provide timely resolutions.
Work closely with teams such as fertilizer production and QA to address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly
Maintain contact with customers in order to create a good working relationship that fosters increased sales and customer base.
Oversee the accounts receivable process, ensuring timely collection of payments for all products and following up with clients on overdue payments.
Closely monitor and manage account receivables (AR) to minimize credit risk exposure.
Achieve monthly and annual sales targets and provide regular sales reports to the management team.
Perform other tasks given by superior.
Bachelor degree or Diploma in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, or any related field
Minimum 2 years in sales and marketing roles, preferably from agriculture products industries.
Strong understanding of sales principles, strategies, and best practices.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to Influence and convince Others.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Possess own transport and willing to travel extensively.
