Job summary

A leading logistics provider in Malaysia is seeking a Sales Executive to drive business growth through new client acquisition. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills, as well as a diploma or higher qualification. Responsibilities include building strong customer relationships, achieving sales targets, and analyzing market trends. A minimum of 2 years experience in 3PL logistics is preferred, but fresh graduates are welcome. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a willingness to travel are essential.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in logistics systems and basic import/export procedures is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through proactive business development strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing customers.
  • Conduct regular customer visits to understand business needs, strengthen rapport, and ensure service satisfaction.
  • Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs.
  • Monitor and follow up on payment collections in accordance with company terms.
  • Analyse market trends and track competitor activities to refine sales strategies.
Requirements
  • Diploma or higher qualification in any field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in 3PL logistics or related industries (preferred). Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; training will be provided.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle multiple client accounts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power BI); knowledge of logistics systems and basic import/export procedures is an advantage.
  • Must own a vehicle and be willing to travel, including outstation trips.
  • Proficiency in Chinese is an added advantage, particularly for communication with international partners.
