Job Summary
We are seeking a highly driven and experienced Sales Executive to lead our growth strategy and expand our market presence throughout Malaysia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B tech sales, a deep understanding of the digital display market, and a proven track record of securing new business and managing complex sales cycles. This role requires an individual who is both a strategic thinker and a hands‑on salesperson, capable of selling a wide range of display products and customized solutions to corporate, education, and government clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Market Expansion: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to capture market share and penetrate new segments for our full range of display solutions (IFP, digital smartboards, e‑paper, digital signage, and display‑related solutions).
- End‑to‑End Sales Cycle Management: Manage the entire sales process, from proactive lead generation and prospecting to solution design, proposal presentation, negotiation, and closing deals.
- Consultative Solution Selling: Act as a trusted advisor to clients by conducting thorough needs analysis to understand their business challenges and recommend bespoke display solutions that deliver maximum value and ROI.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long‑lasting relationships with key clients and decision‑makers across various industries, including government agencies, corporate enterprises, and educational institutions.
- Tender and Proposal Preparation: Prepare and submit comprehensive and compelling proposals, quotations, and tender documents, ensuring full compliance with client and government requirements.
- Product Expertise: Maintain an in‑depth understanding of all company display products and solutions, their technical specifications, and their benefits. Conduct expert product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients.
- Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, emerging display technologies, and regulatory changes in the Malaysian market.
- Sales Reporting and Forecasting: Utilize available tools to track sales activities, manage pipelines, and provide accurate and timely sales forecasts and reports to management.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with marketing, technical support, and project management teams to ensure seamless project execution and exceptional customer experience.
Qualifications
- Education: Diploma in Information Technology, Electronics, or related field. Familiarity with smart display systems is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of proven experience in sales within the technology, IT, or digital display solutions industry.
- Product Knowledge: Prior experience selling a diverse range of display products, such as interactive smartboards, digital signage, and e‑paper solutions, is highly desirable.
- Sectoral Expertise: Demonstrated success in selling to Malaysia's corporate, education, or government sectors. A strong network of contacts within these industries is an advantage.
- Language Skills: Excellent command of English and Bahasa Malaysia is essential. Proficiency in Mandarin is a significant plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
