SALES ENGINEER (INDUSTRY) Location: Malaysia (Penang)

Your areas of responsibility:

Promote the sale of high – performance lubricants (Metalworking Fluids, Rust Preventives, Oils & Greases) through regular planned visits to customers and distributors.

Maintain and expand customer base; build and maintain rapport with key customers and distributors; identify new business opportunities.

Provide technical assistance and arrange successful field trials for various customer applications. Provide sales, marketing, and technical trainings / support for establishment of product performance.

Maintain competitive information on price, credit terms, sales volume and market share, competitive marketing activity etc. to enable successful negotiation with customers and distributors.

Receive and indent orders from customers and distributors, liaise with technical, commercial, and logistic departments to ensure order received, processed, and delivered on time.

Meet the sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements; providing inputs to the annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions.

Ensure all statutory and company required paperwork is up to date. Ensure appropriate and legal contracts are issued to distributors and performance are measured against terms and conditions.

Qualifications we are looking for:

Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical / Chemical / Industrial is preferred).

Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of experience in technical sales or industrial solutions.

Experience in conducting field trial of industry lubricants would be of advantage.

Proficient in spoken and written English and the local language.

Self – driven and motivated, results – oriented with a positive outlook, and a clear focus on high quality and business profit.

Ability to travel extensively within assigned regions.
