As a Sales Engineer at Diamond Offshore Sdn Bhd, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's sales strategy and achieving its ambitious growth objectives. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients. This full-time position is based in Selangor, offering a competitive remuneration package and excellent opportunities for professional development.

What you’ll be doing
  • Proactively identify and pursue new sales leads through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events
  • Develop tailored sales proposals and presentations to effectively showcase the company's products and services
  • Negotiate contract terms and close sales deals with both new and existing clients
  • Provide technical support and guidance to customers, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies
  • Maintain detailed records of all sales activities and pipeline, providing regular progress reports to management
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and product innovations to identify new opportunities
What we’re looking for
  • Relevant degree in Engineering, Sales, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a sales engineer or technical sales role, preferably within the industrial or manufacturing sector
  • Willing to travel (Up to 50% of the time)
  • Strong technical aptitude and the ability to understand complex products and solutions
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and negotiation skills, with a customer-centric approach
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with CRM software
