Job Title: Sales Development Representative (Digital Sales Specialist)
About the Role

This role places you at the forefront of IBM Storage sales – focusing on early-stage client engagement, campaign activation, and identifying opportunities to upsell/cross-sell cloud-based and storage solutions.

IBM emphasizes cyber resiliency, and their storage solutions are a key part of their hybrid cloud and AI strategy. In this role, you’re not just selling tech—you’re solving real business challenges for enterprise clients.

Business Development & Sales Strategy
  • Forecast deals accurately and communicate outcomes clearly
  • Activate sales campaigns in coordination with IBM’s internal teams
  • Identify new business opportunities and support the pipeline with leads
  • Support sales leaders and account executives with upsell/cross-sell strategies
  • Design and collaborate on use cases and proof-of-concepts (POCs)
  • Present compelling value propositions tailored to client needs
  • Engage early in the sales process to understand customer pain points
  • Help guide clients toward IBM's award-winning cloud and storage solutions
Must-Have Skills (Required Experience)
  • Consultative tech sales experience (not just transactional sales)
  • Proficiency with digital sales tools (CRMs, prospecting platforms, etc.)
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret client needs and influence decisions
  • Knowledge of the storage market (even general familiarity; IBM will train you on their product suite)
  • Prior experience working in enterprise tech, SaaS, or IT infrastructure sales
