Responsibilities
  • Reporting to Team Lead, Sales & Business Development Manager.
  • Follow up with existing customers regarding their requirements, including quotations, bookings, requests, and problem resolution, while providing the latest updates.
  • Identify and explore new business opportunities by researching potential leads, meeting with customers, and making proactive sales calls.
  • Coordinate with carriers and headquarters to obtain updated pricing, sailing schedules, charges, news, regulations, and any operational changes.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure smooth operations, and record and update reports for management review, discussions, and information sharing.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships and networks with customers, vendors (including forwarders and freight operators), and carriers to foster business growth and collaboration.
