A leading retail company in Malaysia is seeking a Store Supervisor to support daily operations, oversee store activities, and enhance customer experiences. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in fast fashion retail, possess strong leadership and communication skills, and be flexible to work during weekends and holidays. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to train junior staff, ensuring high standards of store presentation and service quality.
Support the Store Manager in executing daily store operations.
Supervise sales floor activities and ensure a smooth customer experience.
Guide team members during shifts to achieve service and sales expectations.
Assist customers with product enquiries, fitting room support, and styling suggestions.
Handle customer complaints at the first level and escalate major issues when necessary.
Execute all visual merchandising guidelines including mannequin styling, window displays, and product presentation.
Ensure new arrivals are processed, steamed, tagged, and displayed according to VM standards.
Maintain store cleanliness, organisation, and fast fashion presentation standards at all times.
Oversee stock receiving, replenishment, transfers, and stockroom organisation.
Conduct daily/weekly stock checks and highlight discrepancies or stock issues.
Monitor fast-moving items and inform the Store Manager for replenishment planning.
Train new staff on store SOPs, cashiering, stock handling, and VM execution.
Supervise staff during shifts and ensure tasks are executed efficiently.
Assist with manpower planning by monitoring attendance and manpower gaps.
Support end-of-day closing, cash reconciliation, and daily operational reporting.
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience in fast fashion retail.
Basic leadership and team management skills.
Good communication, organisation, and multitasking abilities.
Ability to train and guide junior staff.
Attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs and VM standards.
Flexible to work weekends, public holidays, and peak hours.
