Job description

CSE Electrical & Mechanical Sdn Bhd – Perai, Penang

As a Safety Site Supervisor at CSE ELECTRICAL & MECHANICAL SDN. BHD., you will be responsible for overseeing and implementing safety protocols and procedures on construction sites in Bukit Mertajam, Penang. This is a full‑time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring the health and safety of all workers on site.

What you'll be doing

• Conducting regular site inspections to identify and mitigate potential safety hazards
• Providing training and guidance to construction workers on proper safety practices
• Monitoring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations and company policies
• Investigating and documenting any incidents or accidents that occur on site
• Collaborating with project managers and other stakeholders to develop and implement safety plans
• Maintaining detailed records of safety activities and reports
• Ensuring the proper use and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE)

What we're looking for

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Safety Site Supervisor or in a similar role within the construction industry is preferred. However, fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply and are welcome to attend the interview
• Strong understanding of relevant health and safety regulations and best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with workers and stakeholders
• Problem‑solving and critical thinking abilities to identify and address safety concerns
• Proficiency in safety documentation and report writing
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Relevant safety certifications or qualifications (e.g., IOSH, NEBOSH) would be an advantage
