Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Attend to guests' booking requests and inquiries via phone & email.
  • Manage the property management system and back office software.
  • Upsell guest rooms and recommend hotel facilities.
  • Support front office department with reservation queries.
  • Follow up on outstanding payments as per booking policies.
  • Monitor competitors' pricing and marketing strategies.
  • Make recommendations for room rate adjustments.
  • Assist in other duties as assigned by management.

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Attend and respond promptly to all guests' booking requests & enquiries via phone call/emails in a polite and professional manner.
  • Managing property management system & back office software to input/edit all reservations.
  • Ensure revenue is maximized by up-selling guest rooms and recommending hotel facilities.
  • Working closely with our front office department & the various OTAs to support queries on any reservations.
  • Active and systematic follow up on any outstanding payments as per the booking policies from all reservations.
  • Daily/weekly monitoring on competitors pricing and marketing strategy.
  • Making recommendations to room rates adjustment based on forecasted occupancy & market trends.
  • Assisting with any other duties assigned by the management.
Job Requirements
  • Willing to do weekend/night duty rotational shift (Off days compensated).
  • Possess at least Secondary education.
  • Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required. Mandarin language skills will be an added advantage to support communication with Mandarin-speaking clients.
  • Great team player & able to work independently.
  • Passionate about delivering high quality customer service.
  • Candidates who have good initiative and creativity is preferred. Well versed in OTA & Digital Marketing is preferred as well.
