Resident Medical Officer (TTMC MEDICLINIC JELUTONG)

We are seeking a talented Resident Medical Officer to join our dedicated team at the TTMC Mediclinic in Jelutong, Penang. As a full-time Resident Medical Officer, you will play a crucial role in providing high‑quality, comprehensive healthcare services to our patients. Based in our state‑of‑the‑art medical clinic, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals and contribute to the overall well‑being of the community.

What you’ll be doing

Providing primary care and routine medical consultations to patients of all ages.

Diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions and illnesses.

Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, such as laboratory tests and imaging.

Developing and implementing patient treatment plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.

Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records.

Referring patients to specialists or other healthcare providers when necessary.

Educating patients on preventive care and healthy lifestyle practices.

Participating in regular team meetings and contributing to the continuous improvement of clinical procedures.

What we’re looking for

A recognized medical degree and a valid practicing certificate issued by the Malaysian Medical Council.

At least 2 years of post‑graduate experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a primary care or outpatient clinic environment.

Strong clinical skills and the ability to effectively diagnose and manage a wide range of medical conditions.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.

A commitment to providing high‑quality, patient‑centered care and a genuine passion for the medical field.

Proficient in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Chinese (Mandarin and Hokkien), with the ability to communicate effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds.

Possession of qualification and registration as Occupational Health Doctor (OHD) is an added advantage.
