Responsibilities

• The R&D Manager is responsible for the development and improvement of new and existing products, ensuring they meet quality, safety, and consumer expectations while collaborating with cross-functional Teams to drive innovation and cost-effective production.
• Develop and commercialise new products under the YFI brand and OEM/ODM brand.
• Conduct pilot or bench trials; scale‑up to production. Ensure process parameters are validated.
• Oversee sensory evaluation / consumer testing.
• Work closely with Marketing team to translate trends and consumer feedback.
• Ensure compliance with regulations: food safety (HACCP, GMP), local labelling/regulatory requirements, Halal certification as needed.
• Monitor supplier/raw material sourcing, evaluate new ingredients or alternate sources.
• Supervise and mentor the R&D team.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, QA/QC, Procurement, Marketing.
• Lead the development of new products from concept through prototype to launch.
