Job Description
In your new role, you will:
- Develop test programs on RF tester platforms.
- Develop, modify, optimize, and buy-off automatic test equipment, load/DUT boards, adapters & sockets, handlers, and temperature conditioning systems. Resolve related issues.
- Develop new methods and processes to optimize quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of reliability qualification of product, technology, material, and process changes.
- Implement equipment and process adaptations based on new roadmap requirements. Serve as a work package member for the project team and transfer know-how to the engineering sustaining team.
- Plan and manage technical feasibility checks on new reliability projects and provide feedback to clients and lab logistic planners.
- Coordinate internally with operation and engineering sustaining teams to prioritize and meet agreed timelines, including milestones and deadlines for reliability.
- Plan, execute, and coordinate test package releases and activities, resolving test-related issues.
- Establish documentation for new equipment and processes, including work instructions, machine operating instructions (MOI), specifications, and OJTI.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects, productivity initiatives, problem solving using 8D methodology, workshops, presentations, and departmental events.
Your Profile
You are best equipped if you have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (or equivalent). Minimum 3 years of related experience in semiconductor electrical testing is preferred. Experience with electrical testing, working principles of electrical test equipment, or stress equipment is advantageous.
- Knowledge of electrical testers or handlers for RF products.
- Knowledge of automatic data transfer from testers to databases, tester data file formats, and drift analysis.
- Understanding of the working principles, troubleshooting, diagnostic/test program debugging, interpretation of schematics/electronic circuitry, and basic repair of automatic test equipment.
- Programming skills in C++, Visual Studio, Arduino, and embedded systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
