The Role

The Channel Marketing Manager (Server) is responsible for planning, activating, and coordinating AMD-led marketing activities across various business segments.

This role oversees three marketing pillars: regional event management, regional influencer management, and media content creation. The incumbent will work across all of AMD's major business segments in the B2B and B2C space in collaboration with regional marketing & sales teams.

The Person

The Channel Marketing Manager (Server) reports to the APeJ Server Marketing Lead and is responsible for planning and activating strategic marketing and channel programs for AMD’s resellers and distribution partners. He/she maintains open communication lines between AMD Global Marketing, AMD Global OEM Marketing, and AMD Regional Marketing teams to support growth in server-branded and server component devices.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Act as the regional marketing lead for Server Branded Systems and Components, focusing on OEM-branded system growth through channel and ISV partnerships.
  2. Design and implement strategic channel marketing programs across distribution and reseller networks to increase market share and sell-through of EPYC-based platforms.
  3. Coordinate engagement with OEM, ODM, and SI partners at industry and company events, especially in Telco and Cloud sectors.
  4. Collaborate with GTM and Business Unit teams to develop and deliver channel marketing initiatives and standard templates.
  5. Partner with internal and external stakeholders to create targeted marketing content that engages resellers and distributors.
  6. Build and maintain relationships with key server stakeholders across product, marketing, OEM, and sales functions.
  7. Align and execute regional and central marketing programs in coordination with Sales and Corporate Marketing teams.
  8. Oversee forecasting, planning, and execution of sales and marketing initiatives, including AMD VIR programs.
  9. Work with the APAC OEM Marketing team to implement OEM-specific programs through distributors and channel partners.
  10. Manage project timelines, monitor progress, and ensure quality across all deliverables.
  11. Conduct post-campaign debriefs and prepare quarterly reports, including ROI analysis.
  12. Develop and execute content streams and integrated marketing activations, from digital campaigns to physical events.
  13. Proactively seek opportunities to improve marketing effectiveness and collaboration.
Preferred Experience
  • Marketing experience in Semiconductor, CE, IT industries, or online/event-focused marketing (corporate or agency).
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university or equivalent experience.
  • At least 8 years of experience in delivering channel marketing programs in APAC.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Copywriting and/or graphics design experience is a plus.
  • Project management experience with cross-functional teams and partners.
  • Deep knowledge of server hardware marketing, including cloud, telco, security, AI, and manufacturing topics.
  • Experience with ODM, SIs, Resellers, or Distribution Partner marketing programs.
  • Experience working with ecosystem partners like AWS, Azure, Google is a bonus.
  • Willing to travel at least 30% for meetings and partner activities.
  • Experience in B2B Account-Based Marketing, including lead generation and pipeline development.
  • Energetic, team-oriented, and optimistic attitude.
Academic Credentials

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
