Job description

Manage and steer dealer activities to achieve targets e,g Car sales, pre‑owned car business, sales customer satisfaction, leads management, fleet business etc, including attending to dealer’s requests/inquiries.

Ensure continuous improvement of dealer sales operations and lead generation/test drive activities, including daily/periodic reporting as needed.

Obtain, analyse, and review market intelligence to provide action plans to maintain/improve sales momentum.

Develop and implement sales activities to ensure incremental volume of sales and profitability, including product knowledge, marketing activities and digital media actions, sales activations etc.

Perform new vehicle allocation and dealer inventory planning to ensure dealer stock levels as per KPI's target.

Regional Manager
  • Achieve Dealer target sales/registrations and all sales KPIs as determined by company.
  • Achieve Dealer sales Customer Satisfaction Index target.
  • Ensure compliance to all Corporate Identity, Marketing KPIs and sales processes/systems, and conduct audit checks as required.
Pre‑owned Car Business
  • Achieve pre‑owned car business target.
  • Ensure active sourcing for VW pre‑owned car updates/posting on pre‑owned car business website.
  • Ensure pre‑owned car showroom always adheres to CI.
  • Conduct quarterly audit.
  • Check documentation of monthly claim for all dealer’s support before submitting to sales support to process.
Fleet/Government
  • Achieve fleet business targets.
  • Compliance to fleet sales regulations.
  • Strategize, implement and expand network of fleet/Government Association.
Lead Management
  • Achieve leads management targets.
  • Implement leads management process/system and ensure data & process quality.
  • Implement actions to increase test drives and conversions to bookings and registrations.
Marketing
  • Achieve marketing targets on ground and on‑line.
  • To support and steer dealers to strategise, plan and implement all marketing activities in accordance to VPCM marketing’s standards and KPIs.
Training
  • Achieve sales training targets.
  • To ensure knowledge base of dealers sales personnel is regularly updated.
Others
  • To oversee and steer specific areas of sales business as assigned.
  • Any other sales related tasks as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Degree in Business Administration or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies.
  • Ability to measure and analyse key performance indicators (ROI & KPI)
  • Minimum 10 years working experience in Automotive or related Sales management areas.
  • Possesses knowledge and experience in dealer sales will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels of organization.
  • Independent and results‑driven with strong interpersonal, presentation/negotiation skills and strong business acumen.
