Job summary

A leading port management company in Gelang Patah is seeking a dedicated individual to manage Reefer Containers ensuring they are properly connected to power. The role involves responding to service issues and coordinating operations effectively. The ideal candidate must be a Malaysian citizen aged between 18-35 years, with a valid driving license and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Willingness to work in 12-hour shifts is required.

Qualifications

  • Malaysian citizen.

  • Valid driving license (at least Class D).
  • Physically and mentally fit with good eyesight.
  • Willing to work 12-hour shifts and on public holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure Reefer Containers are properly connected to power.
  • Prevent long power-off periods and service failures.
  • Respond quickly to power-off requests.
  • Coordinate with relevant personnel on operational matters.
  • Update relevant supervisors on service issues.
  • Prepare reports for Reeferman Coordinator.

Job Summary
  1. Make sure all Reefer Containers are properly connected to power and kept in good working condition based on client requirements.
  2. Work efficiently while following PTP policies and ISO procedures.
Key Duties
  1. Prevent long power-off periods, service failures, and reduce any risk of cargo claims.
  2. Respond quickly to any power-off requests from Operations.
  3. Coordinate with the Yard Planner, TEE Dispatcher, and Yard Supervisor on operational matters.
  4. Update the Duty Executive and Reeferman Head of Unit on any power-off or service issues.
  5. Prepare reports requested by the Reeferman Coordinator.
  6. Follow all HSSE rules and requirements.
  7. Support any additional tasks when needed.
Requirements
  1. Malaysian citizen.
  2. Aged between 1835 years old.
  3. Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification.
  4. Valid driving license (at least Class D).
  5. Physically and mentally fit with good eyesight.
  6. Able to speak and understand basic English.
  7. Able to work independently and as a team player.
  8. Willing to work 12-hour shifts and on public holidays.
