Job description
Position Summary

Serve as a key resource for all recreation activities facilitated on the property.

Responsibilities
  • Provide information to guests about available recreation facilities (pools, beach, entertainment zone/game‑room, fitness center, child activities center).
  • Encourage, recruit, register, and schedule guests for recreation activities.
  • Promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests and enforce rules and regulations for safety and welfare.
  • Observe activities and respond according to local operating procedures during emergencies.
  • Provide cashier services for point‑of‑sale transactions.
  • Assist with private functions, group activities, and events in the recreation facilities.
  • Identify and report unsafe activity situations; inform supervisor/manager.
  • Provide first‑aid assistance to injured guests until emergency medical services arrive.
  • Clean and maintain recreational facilities, equipment, and supplies.
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management; complete required safety training and certifications.
  • Maintain a clean, professional appearance and confidentiality of proprietary information.
  • Serve guests with genuine appreciation, assist individuals with disabilities, and address service needs.
  • Answer telephones with appropriate etiquette.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships and support the team to reach common goals.
  • Process payments for rental equipment, recreation activities, facility rentals, or retail sales.
  • Comply with quality‑assurance expectations and standards.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • No related work experience.
  • No supervisory experience.
Required Qualifications
  • CPR Certification.
  • First Aid Certification.
  • Recreation Equipment certification or training as required by local and state agencies.
