Description

1. Performs GL & Nostro related reconciliations for Singapore/China/Overseas Branches and meeting the agreed BAU SLI turnaround timing
2. Prompt escalation of reconciliation outages in a timely manner to Business Units
3. Investigate and follow through of the reconciliation outages till closure.
4. Active participation in assigned projects in the Department - Assist in handling requirement specifications with users and IT team. Participate in system functionality testing and implementation and provide the necessary post conversion support.
5. Contribute /Work on process improvements and system automation.
6. Assist in improving reconciliation service and ensuring effective reconciliation controls are in place.
7. Support in ad-hoc /admin tasks assigned.

Qualifications

1. Possesses a Degree in Accountancy/Finance or ACCA, audit experience is preferred.
2. Knowledge on banking products or at least 2 year working experience in banking industry is an added advantage.
3. Proficient in Ms Office Application, especially Excel
4. Strong Analytical Skill & Good communication skills
5. Good team player as well as able to work independently to meet tight deadlines.
6. Meticulous, highly motivated, focused, results-oriented, strong drive for excellence.
7. Required to work during MY public holidays which is not SG public holidays
