Job summary

A leading automation company located in Bayan Lepas, Penang, is seeking a skilled engineer to design and develop software, control systems, and hardware for automated machines. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Engineering or Science and at least 2 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include analyzing customer requirements, providing support, and managing technical projects. Proficiency in Visual C++, Visual C#, and VB.NET is required. Applicants with an innovative mindset and Mandarin communication skills will be preferred.

Qualifications

• Good semiconductor process knowledge or IR technology is an advantage.

Job description

Design and develop software, control system & hardware for automated machines

Provide application integration test and documentation

Provide assistance and machine software & hardware support to customers as well as evaluation to find solutions on customer’s modification requests

To analyze and implement customer requirements

Responsible for software development process definition and hardware qualification

Plan and manage technical projects or tasks to meet expectations on quality and timeliness

Work as a team to evaluate interface between hardware and software as well as the operational and performance requirements of the overall system

Perform proper engineering documentation, SOP and guideline

Undertake other duties and responsibilities, which may be assigned by the Company from time to time with on time full closure

Job Requirements

Degree in Engineering or Science in Electronics/ Electrical/ Mechatronics/ Computer with second upper class or above

At least 2 years working experience in relevant field is preferred. Fresh graduates with passion for software engineering are also welcome to apply

Strong in software programming and electronics/electrical design

Well versed in Visual C++, Visual C#, VB.NET programming language

Good working relationship and positive work attitude, self-motivated with ability to work
independently and in team environment
