Job description

We are looking for an R&D Executive to join our Food Ingredient R&D team. This role offers hands-on exposure to product development, laboratory trials, bakery and other food applications, as well as food safety documentation such as HACCP and FSSC 22000.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development, improvement, and innovation of food ingredient products.
• Evaluate and test new raw materials or ingredients for suitability and performance.
• Conduct laboratory trials, product testing, application trials, shelf-life studies, and basic process evaluations.
• Keep updated on food trends, innovative ingredients, and technologies to support new product development.
• Support application trials and basic troubleshooting under guidance.
• Prepare, update, and maintain R&D documentation, including product specifications, formulations, and trial reports.
• Support food safety and quality documentation such as HACCP, FSSC 22000, GMP, and related procedures.
• Support internal audits, external audits, and customer audits when required.
• Carry out ad-hoc tasks assigned by the superior from time to time.
