Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in Seremban is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to develop new designs and manage CNC programming. The role requires a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 2 years of experience in safety door manufacturing. Proficiency in AUTOCAD and SOLIDWORKS is essential. Familiarity with Malay and English is required, while Mandarin is a plus. You will ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards in all R&D tasks.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Familiarity with software operation such as AUTOCAD and SOLIDWORKS is required.
• At least 2 years of related working experience in Safety Door Manufacturing is needed.

Responsibilities

Job description

Develop new conceptual and detailed designs.

Convert and interpret engineering drawings for new product/design.

Program CNC punching, CNC Router and Laser cut Machine.

Track progress, perform troubleshooting on product process problems as related to design, material, or process.

Ensure all R&D work follows quality, safety, and environmental standards.

Perform any other job function that may be assigned from time to time from immediate superior.

REQUIREMENTS

Candidate at least possess a bachelor/degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

Familiar with software operation ; AUTOCAD , SOLIDWORKS.

At least 2 years related working experience (Safety Door Manufacturing).

Comprehensive understanding of the full R&D cycle.

Able to multitask & work independently.

Able to speak, read & write in Malay, English. Mandarin Language proficiency is an added an advantage.
