Responsibilities
- Competent to complete the Cost Estimation for the Tender Work independently, including call Sub-Contractor and Supplier for quotation, Sub-Contractor Quotation Comparison, Breakdown of Unit Rate etc.
- Responsible for taking off quantities. Review of the Instruction to Tenders and Conditions of Contract, recognize and analyze the potential risk.
- Post-Contract Commercial Management, including review of the Interim Progress Claim, Variation Order and Claim to the Client, Sub-Contractor Interim Payment Certificate, Variation Order and Claim.
- Monitoring the implementation of Project Budgeting Cost, Responsible to verify, cost-control of all suppliers, sub-contractor, workers etc., inclusive project claims and expenses within the budget.
- Handling pre, post contractual matters: project budget, progress claims, projected tender documentations and final accounts.
- Ensure every progress claim, certifications, invoices to clients are issued on timely basis.
Location: HQ- Bandar Puchong Utama. May require you to travel to site if needed.
Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Quantity Survey or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in Mandarin will be added as advantage.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and measurement of quantities.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
