Responsibilities
  • Supervise and guide Lab Analysts in daily operations, ensuring compliance with procedures, sampling plans, and specifications.
  • Monitor and maintain processing plants and equipment, ensuring they operate according to documented standards and maintenance schedules.
  • Ensure all process-controlled parameters stay within specified limits; take prompt corrective actions for any deviations.
  • Identify training needs and ensure team members are adequately trained and competent in their roles.
  • Report any process deviations or quality issues immediately to the Head of Department.
  • Oversee the extraction of raw materials, ensuring proper monitoring, maintenance, and documentation.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support ad-hoc projects or tasks as assigned.
  • Prepare and present weekly and monthly KPI reports for management review and decision-making.
