A leading automotive manufacturer in Malaysia is seeking a Quality Engineer to join their Quality Assurance Section. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of automotive quality systems and experience managing quality improvement projects. Responsibilities include resolving quality issues, leading improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with automotive standards. Candidates should hold a relevant degree and possess technical skills in quality standards and tools. Walk-in interviews will be conducted on January 31st at Dewan Teratai Batu 17 Rawang.
We are looking for a Quality Engineer to join our Quality Assurance Section. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of automotive quality systems, hands‑on experience with quality improvement projects, and solid analytical and communication skills. You will be responsible for managing end‑to‑end quality issue resolution, driving process improvement, and ensuring compliance with automotive standards.
Quality Issue Management: Identify and resolve abnormalities in the vehicle manufacturing process (powertrain and chassis systems). Lead 8D reporting and ensure effective corrective and preventive actions.
Quality Improvement Projects: Lead major quality enhancement initiatives, coordinating with cross‑functional teams to address key market and production issues.
System and Standard Development: Support continuous improvement of quality management systems, assembly processes, and inspection procedures.
Data & Process Analysis: Utilize quality tools and data analytics to monitor and improve performance across production stages.
Language: Mandarin speaker preferred (to communicate with Mandarin‑speaking clients).
Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Power Engineering, or related fields.
Experience: 3–5 years of quality improvement experience in the automotive industry.
Technical Skills:
In‑depth knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 standards.
Certified IATF/ISO Internal Auditor is preferred.
Proficient in quality tools such as APQP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, 8D, 5 Whys Analysis, and VDA 6.3 Process Audit.
Strong data analysis ability using software tools (e.g., Excel).
Experience in problem‑solving, auditing, and implementing process improvements.
