Job summary

A well-established technology manufacturer in Malaysia is looking for a qualified professional to develop inspection plans and manage measurement equipment calibration. This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science and proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin. The ideal candidate should have experience in testing and inspection environments, with strong analytical skills for effectively addressing customer complaints related to measurement issues. This role offers a competitive salary range of RM6k to RM10k.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or related technical discipline.
• Proficient in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin.
• Experience in testing/inspection/measurement center is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop inspection plans and measurement programs.
• Perform daily calibration of measurement equipment.
• Organize and support equipment acceptance and validation.
• Prepare SOPs for measurement equipment and conduct training.
• Plan and execute measurement system analysis.
• Document DoE measurement activities.
• Handle customer technical complaints effectively.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop inspection plans and measurement programs based on inspection drawings; analyze abnormal measurement data and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Perform daily calibration of measurement equipment (internal and external), maintain records, handle abnormalities, and carry out equipment maintenance.
• Organize and support equipment acceptance, validation, and stability analysis.
• Prepare standard operating procedures (SOPs) for measurement equipment and conduct related training.
• Plan and execute measurement system analysis, including repeatability, correlation, and GR&R studies.
• Track, monitor, and document DoE measurement activities during project validation.
• Handle customer technical complaints related to measurement issues and provide effective solutions.

Job Requirements

• Bachelors degree or above in Engineering, Science, or other related technical disciplines.
• Proficient in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin (as need to liaise with Mandarin speaker clients)
• Experience working in a testing / inspection / measurement center is preferred.
• Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical specifications.
• Able to understand and apply 3D measurement concepts and software.

Salary Range: RM6k - RM10k
