1. Quality System Assurance
- Ensure compliance of work processes with IATF requirements and Customer Specific Requirements (CSR).
- Ensure compliance of work processes with all global and site-level Quality Management procedures.
2. New Project (PCP) Quality Assurance
- Act as a QE team member for projects assigned by the supervisor.
- Responsible for task assignments by the Project Manager.
- Review Customer Specific Requirements (CSR) with the project team.
- Ensure that the Product Creation Process is followed in the development of automotive transducers and/or related deliverables based on project requirements.
- Ensure adherence to the Production Part Release Process.
- Conduct Quality Assessments (where applicable).
- Coordinate and prepare product PPAP for approval.
- Support TTR/TR activities, continuous improvement, and ensure a 5-star launch.
3. Manufacturing Quality Assurance
- Approve finished products to ensure compliance with product specifications and safety requirements that meet customer expectations.
- Ensure timely compliance with new and updated Customer Specific Requirements during the mass production phase.
- Approve new products for delivery.
- Lead and drive continuous quality improvement initiatives and address quality issues.
- Evaluate product and process risks during 4M changes, including PFMEA and Control Plan reviews.
- Assess risks and changes related to process modifications.
4. Customer Incident Handling (0-km and Warranty)
- Act as the team leader in cases of customer quality issues and interface directly with the customer or customer team.
- Lead return failure analyses and provide effective countermeasures to non-conformances using the 8D approach.
- Ensure customer complaints are registered in SharePoint and tracked accordingly.
- Ensure problem-solving activities follow the 8D methodology, including adherence to 1-2-14 response timelines.
- Perform data analysis on field failures, 0-km incidents, product recalls, and audits; define continuous improvement actions as per IATF requirements.
- Conduct risk analyses based on lessons learned from product recalls, audits, field returns, and complaints per IATF standards.
- Document 8D lessons learned.
- Review monthly field failure analysis and define improvement action plans.
5. General Quality Work Routine
- Update BBSC (Balanced Business Scorecard) on a monthly basis.
- Ensure timely updates and tracking of 8D registrations for review.
- Participate in production KATA, root cause analyses, corrective actions, and implementation of cut-off.
- Ensure customer portals are regularly reviewed and updated, and report supplier scorecards in BBSC.
- Ensure monthly Cost of Non-Quality data is issued by the process owner and compiled by the designated data collector.
- Ensure Outgoing Quality Control (OQC) is performed in accordance with production planning and the OQC quality plan.
6. Product Audit & Requalification / Process Audit
- Lead the annual product audit review and maintain the Product Audit Matrix.
- Ensure that the product audit plan is followed.
- Review product audit reports and submit to customers on time, as required.
- Lead and ensure annual product requalification activities are conducted.
- Conduct annual process audits in accordance with IATF and customer requirements.
- Conduct internal process audits as requested by customers.
7. Quality Improvement
- Lead and manage internal quality improvement projects using appropriate methodologies with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Candidates with 3–5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or quality management environment, with a solid understanding of ISO/TS 16949 and ISO 9001 standards.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in managing customer quality concerns, including handling audits and complaints.
- Strong background in quality engineering with working knowledge of core quality tools and methodologies such as SPC, MSA, FMEA, and Six Sigma.
- Hands‑on experience auditing production lines using control plans and ISO/TS standards.
