A leading manufacturer in electronics is looking for a full-time Mechanical Engineer in Kedah. This full-time Mechanical Engineer role is located in the Manufacturing industry at Kulim Hi-Tech Park, Kedah.
Support the Quality Assurance Director in developing and implementing quality strategies and lead the process quality team to set objectives and plans that achieve company goals.
Monitor and analyze quality indicators in production, resolve quality issues, implement improvement measures, enhance quality control, reduce defects, and ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and customer requirements to achieve customer satisfaction.
Plan and improve the quality management team’s structure and capabilities, coordinate internal and external resources, and manage costs while meeting quality objectives.
Coordinate with QMS and Sales for customer audit preparation, customer reception, and improvement responses to audit findings and other related tasks.
Bachelor's degree in any related.
More than 3 years of work experience in a similar position in the relevant industry.
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Possess basic theoretical knowledge of the optoelectronics industry, understand product mechanical structure, optical knowledge, and optoelectronic knowledge, and be generally familiar with the industry’s technical level and application market.
Understand ISO9001, AS9100, and IATF16949 quality management system knowledge as well as the five core quality management tools.
Be well-versed in quality management workflows, and possess knowledge, experience, and methods in areas such as laboratory management, quality control, process control, or production manufacturing.
Possess knowledge, experience, and methods in project management, objective management, and team management.
Mandarin language proficiency will be an added advantage/bonus.
