Job summary

A manufacturing company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Quality Control/Quality Assurance Specialist to lead QC/QA activities for welding operations. Description

POSITION SUMMARY: Focal point of QC/QA for all welding activities and work. Lead on the preparation of WPS/WQT, total review of all existing WPS, and continuously monitor welding quality/inspection. Responsible in implementing and monitoring the Quality Management System ISO 9001:2015 at TWM.

Primary Responsibilities & Skills
  • Responsible for preparation of project procedure, ITP, Quality plan, NDE map.
  • Assist Quality Manager for Code and Standard interpretation, implementation, and compliance.
  • Responsible for monitoring the new product line prototype testing preparation, starting from design until completion.
  • Assist Quality Manager for the factory registration and audit by the related legislation.
  • Prepare quality documentation related to the new product line.
  • Perform detailed analysis on failures/potential failures/corrective/preventive action and promote continual improvement to achieve total customer satisfaction.
  • Perform any other tasks related to Lean, 5S, Safety and Overall QA/QC that may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications
  • Degree holder.
