Job description
Responsibilities
  • Perform quality checks on raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods.
  • Ensure all processes comply with SOPs, quality standards, and customer specifications.
  • Prepare, review, and update SOPs, Work Instructions, forms, and quality documents.
  • Ensure compliance with standards such as ISO 9001, GMP, and HACCP (if applicable).
  • Participate in internal and external audits; prepare audit reports and follow up on corrective actions.
  • Investigate product defects, customer complaints, and process non‑compliances; issue NCRs and monitor corrective & preventive actions.
  • Support improvement activities such as Kaizen, Lean, and process optimization; recommend preventive measures to reduce defects and improve productivity.
  • Provide quality awareness training to production staff and operators; ensure all employees understand and follow quality standards.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports; analyze defect trends and propose improvement plans.
Qualifications
  • SPM or Diploma in Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in QA/QC.
  • Knowledge of ISO, GMP, or HACCP is an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Good communication and documentation skills.
  • Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to work independently.
