Job summary

A leading technology firm in Petaling Jaya is seeking a QA Officer to develop and implement quality assurance policies and ensure compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Business Studies and have strong communication skills in English, Malay, and Chinese. You will review standards, conduct audits, and collaborate with various teams to resolve quality issues while supporting enhancements to workplace safety and health programs.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of related working experience is preferred.
• Executive specializing in Accounting / Auditing or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement QA policies and procedures.
• Review quality assurance standards to evaluate effectiveness.
• Monitor compliance with ISO 9001, 27001, and 14001 standards.
• Conduct internal audits and support external certification processes.
• Investigate customer complaints and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare and present quality reports to management.

Job description

• Develop and implement QA policies and procedures to ensure product and service quality.
• Review quality assurance standards, study existing policies and procedures to evaluate effectiveness of quality assurance program.

Monitor compliance with ISO 9001, 27001 and 14001 standards and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

• Conduct internal audits and support external certification processes.
• Investigate customer complaints and non-conformities and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. Sales, Technical, Customer Service, Business Operations) to resolve quality issues.

Prepare and present quality reports to management and stakeholders.

• Perform OSH audit and ensure workplace safety and health in compliance with OSH legislation.
• Monitor effectiveness of safety programs and procedures.
• Follow-up on hazard reports and recommend actions.
• Conduct training sessions to promote awareness of QA, ISMS, EMS, safety and health standards.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate should possess a Diploma / Advanced Diploma, Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Business Studies / Administration / Management.
• Preferably at least 1 year of related working experience.
• Preferably Executive specializing in Accounting / Auditing or equivalent.
• Good communication skills in English, Malay, Chinese language for both spoken and written.
