Job summary

A leading cable manufacturer in Kedah, Malaysia is seeking a quality tester. The ideal candidate will be responsible for checking and testing quality semi-products and final products, segregating non-conforming cables, and ensuring equipment calibration. Candidates must possess a Diploma in Engineering or related, with relevant experience being an advantage. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required for collaboration at all levels.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess a Diploma in Engineering or related.
• Experience in a similar industry is an advantage.
• Manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Check and test quality semi-product and final product.
• Report quality problems to Asst Supervisor/Supervisor.
• Segregate non-conforming cables.
• Clean after testing.
• Ensure equipment calibration as scheduled.
• Implement 5S in the workplace.
• Perform production assessment/tested sample measurement.
• Maintain measuring equipment.

Job Responsibilities:

Check and test quality semi-product and final product.

Report to Asst Supervisor/Supervisor on the quality problem discovered.

To segregate the non conforming cables.

To do cleaning after finished or complete testing.

To ensure equipment calibrate as schedule.

Implementation of 5s in workplace.

To perform production assessment/tested sample measurement.

Ensure measuring equipment to be maintain well.

Any other assignment given by superior.

Job Requirements:
