Oversees and ensures the implementation of QA/QC procedures and standards in construction projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and enforce QA/QC procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and project requirements.
- Perform regular inspections and tests on construction materials and works to verify adherence to quality standards.
- Maintain comprehensive records of QA/QC activities, including inspection reports, test results, and corrective actions.
- Identify, document, and address non-conformances, coordinating corrective and preventive measures effectively.
- Plan and execute internal and external quality audits, ensuring all activities conform to established standards and procedures.
- Assess and monitor the quality of materials supplied by vendors, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless integration of quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify areas for quality improvement and implement strategies to enhance construction processes and outcomes.
- Ensure all QA/QC activities adhere to health and safety regulations and standards, promoting a safe working environment.
- Any other duties assigned by the Superior and/or the Management.
Job Specification and Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering / Construction Management, or its equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a QA/QC role in the construction industry.
- Candidate with experience in landed residential/ general building project would be preferred.
- Candidate with Qlassic Assessor Certification would be added advantages.
- In-depth knowledge of QA/QC standards and procedures.
- Familiarity with construction materials, methods, and processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
