Job summary

A tech manufacturing company in Penang seeks a Quality Control Inspector to prepare inspection criteria, perform material inspections, and assist in quality investigations. Candidates must have a diploma in Engineering or Applied Science and at least 1 year of experience in the manufacturing field. Proficiency in measuring equipment and good computer literacy are essential. Familiarity with QMS and EMS is a plus. Qualifications

Specific Duties And Responsibilities

• Prepare QC Inspection Criteria for in process inspection
• Perform Incoming Inspection of Raw Material and Tool Spares
• Maintain IQA database and Incoming report for raw material and tool spare
• Assist QA Engineer on quality issues investigation
• Develop measurement method and inspection program for new stamp part
• Support FAI inspection and report for NPI/EEE parts
• Performs other duties assigned by immediate QA Superior and above
• Assist QA engineer on plant wide MSA activities
• Support production on measurement confirmation
• Assist QA engineer on DHR (Device History Record) documentation

Authorities

• Product or material buy off and release
• Fixture or tooling buyoff and release

Position Requirement

• Education: Diploma in Engineering/Tooling or Applied Science Or SPM with technician position from manufacturing field
• Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in manufacturing field
• Skill: Knowledge of measuring equipment
• SpecialRequirement: Experience in Metal Stamping or Tool fabrication is preferable
• SpecialRequirement: Good Computer Literacy and MS Office experience
• SpecialRequirement: Basic understanding of QMS, EMS, and OSH Management Systems/ Standards is an advantage
