A Malaysia-based manufacturing company is looking for a Quality Assurance Assistant to support daily inspections and ensure compliance with quality standards. The ideal candidate should have a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Composite Engineering. Responsibilities include conducting inspections, preparing reports, and maintaining QA records. WF Composite Sdn Bhd is a Malaysia-based manufacturer specializing in fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) and dual-laminate process equipment such as tanks, scrubbers, and piping systems. We cater to chemical, semiconductor, and water treatment industries, delivering high-quality, corrosion-resistant solutions across Southeast Asia.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in daily product inspection and testing of composite materials and finished products.
Conduct dimensional checks, visual inspection, and documentation in accordance with internal QA protocols and industry standards such as EN 13121, ASTM, DVS, and so on.
Support in preparing inspection reports, non-conformance reports (NCR), and maintaining QA records.
Work with production supervisors to ensure product compliance with design and quality requirements.
Participate in calibration and maintenance of QA/QC equipment.
Assist in continuous improvement projects related to quality systems and process optimization.
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Polymer/Composite Engineering, or related field.
Fresh graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.
Basic knowledge of FRP/composite materials or quality assurance principles is an advantage.
Able to interpret engineering drawings and specifications (training provided).
Detail-oriented, proactive, and willing to learn in a hands-on production environment.
Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
