The QA & QC Executive shall be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality for our imported fresh fruits. The QA & QC Executive will be responsible for implementing and maintaining quality assurance and quality control procedures throughout the entire supply chain, from sourcing to distribution. The QA & QC Executive will be instrumental in upholding our commitment to delivering premium-quality fruits to our customers.
Quality Assurance
- Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with food safety regulations, industry standards, and customer requirements.
- Establish quality objectives and performance metrics to measure and improve the effectiveness of QA processes.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of warehouse, packing house and loading bay to verify compliance with quality standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with suppliers to address quality issues, implement corrective actions, and ensure continuous improvement in product quality.
Quality Control (QC)
- Design and implement quality control procedures for incoming raw materials, including fruit inspection, sampling, and testing.
- Establish product specifications, standards, and inspection criteria for fresh fruits based on sensory evaluation, quality attributes, and safety parameters.
- Conduct in-process and final product inspections to verify conformance to specifications and quality standards.
- Investigate quality-related issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.
Documentation and Compliance
- Maintain accurate records of quality control activities, including inspection reports, test results, and supplier certifications.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and documentation requirements for imported fruits, such as phytosanitary certificates and country‑of‑origin labelling.

Fresh Fruits Testing and Analysis
- Perform sensory evaluations, laboratory tests, and organoleptic assessments to assess fruit quality, freshness, and ripeness.
- Utilize testing equipment and tools to measure attributes such as sugar content, acidity, and shelf‑life characteristics.
- Interpret test results and provide recommendations to Warehouse Manager for product improvement or corrective actions.
- Train staff members involved in fruit handling and distribution on quality control procedures, hygiene practices, and safety protocols.
- Stay abreast of industry developments, regulatory changes, and best practices in fresh fruit quality assurance.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and quality enhancement within the supply chain.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement quality improvement initiatives and address customer feedback.
Other Duties
- Support warehouse operations during peak periods.
- Provide assistance to walk‑in customers as required.
Job Requirement and Qualification
- Degree/Diploma in Food Science, Agriculture, Biology, or related field.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years working experience.
- Proven experience in quality control or assurance within the food industry, preferably in fresh fruit or produce.
- Strong knowledge of fruit varieties, characteristics, and ripening processes.
- Familiarity with quality standards, regulations, and certifications relevant to fresh fruit importation and distribution.
- Proficiency in conducting laboratory tests and interpreting analytical data.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with suppliers, colleagues, and customers.
- Detail‑oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and precision.
- Problem‑solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
