Job summary

A manufacturing firm is seeking a Quality Assurance Leader in Port Klang. The candidate will oversee the IPQC team ensuring compliance and improvement of product consistency. Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s in Engineering (Mechanical) with at least 5 years of experience, preferably in the metal stamping field. Job description

The organisation is specialized in manufacturing high precision metal stamping parts for electrical and electronics industries. It is equipped with the latest high technology machines. In order to produce high quality products, all the staffs are trained to be highly skillful and competent.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise IPQC team and ensure product compliance as per set standard.
• Lead ISO process, continuous improvement and quality assurance projects.
• Improve product consistency.
• Communicate and work with all levels of the organization. Manage a large multi-function program or a set of projects. Interact with colleagues, suppliers and customers.
• Responsibility for quality assurance efforts for assigned areas.
• Achieve maximum levels of productivity, ensuring that the business benefits from the lowest possible cost and best value.
• Develop and execute appropriate business plans/multi-generation product plans to identify trends, opportunities for marketplace advantage and new ideas for products, processes and services. Direct quality assurance activities.
• Train and provide development opportunities for staff. Ensure annual goals are complete and communicated. Ensure Performance Management System is up to date and regular feedback is provided to staff members.
• Monitor and evaluate team members, and adjust training where needed.
• Drive achievement of Quality Objective, Quality Policy and Departmental Objective through communicate understood and implement.

Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of related working experience
• Well verse and hands on experience with IATF systems & tools
• Working experience in metal stamping, components assemble (manufacturing field) is preferred
• Experience in automotive parts & processes (added advantage)
• Willing to work in Telok Gong, Port Klang
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 5.30pm; Saturday, 8.00am to 12.30pm
