Job summary

A leading contract manufacturing firm in Malaysia is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to enhance the capabilities of its department. The successful candidate will provide technical and administrative support, monitor quality control systems, and ensure compliance with ISO9001. Qualifications

Job description

To enhance the capabilities of the Quality Assurance Department by providing technical and administrative support to the Engineering group in improving internal quality and yield of the product.

To ensure that all the procedures and guideline are being followed and executed in proper manner to ensure total quality control.

To assist QA Technician/inspector on technical support for the incoming, in process and outgoing inspection.

To monitor a vendor quality control system in qualification, internal continuous improvement and quality performance.

Monitor process yield throughout the line. Recognize and help solve yield‑decreasing problem and implement and drive internal corrective actions.

As and when required, to carry out experimentation, process capability studies, or other QC 7 tools to improve internal yield and quality.

Drive customer corrective actions by carrying out root cause failure analysis, cross‑sectioning, dimensional analysis, or other means. In addition, communicate with customers when necessary to ensure verification of corrective actions.

Ensure production information is communicated consistently and effectively throughout the line. This communication might include inspection instructions, customer complaints, or other specific instructions.

To participate in MRB & Purge activities, ECO and DA changes, shall follow up for the full implementation.

Ensure all Quality Activities are compliance to ISO9001 & Safety Requirement.

To update the QA data into database and to analyze the data by using Pareto analysis, Fishbone Diagram plot, 8D and etc.

Requirements

At least 3 to 5 years working experiences in similar field with minimum bachelor's degree holder qualification.

Preferably contract manufacturing experiences.

To have some basic QA Knowledge such as QC 7 tools, SPC or having exposure in ISO9001 environment in quality field.
