Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in Malaysia is seeking a candidate to assist in purchasing tasks such as requesting quotations, issuing purchase orders, and maintaining supplier records. The role requires good communication and negotiation skills, and at least 2 years of experience in a related field. Candidates must hold a diploma or degree in business administration or economics and be proficient in MS Office. A pleasant personality and the ability to start immediately are advantageous.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Welford Manufacturing Sdn Bhd is a manufacturer of high-quality medical disposable devices, specializing in infusion sets, extension sets, and related products. We are committed to delivering safe, reliable, and innovative medical solutions that meet global regulatory standards.

Responsibilities
  • To assist in Handling Purchasing task - Request Quotation, Issued PO, Correspond with suppliers on orders.
  • Sourcing potential vendors, and negotiating with suppliers for the best saving.
  • Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information, and invoices.
  • Working with warehouse department to compare deliveries with purchase orders to identify discrepancies.
  • To make sure documents filling are up to date.
  • To involve in monthly stock take and hostel management.
  • Undertake any other assignment as directed by the management from time to time.
Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least a SPM, diploma, bachelor degree in business administration/economic or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with internal and external parties.
  • Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Computer literate especially in MS Excel, MS Words & PowerPoint.
  • Able to work independently.
  • At least 2 years of working experiences.
  • Pleasant personality with good work ethics.
  • Able to start immediately will be added advantage.
